Ontario's Little Saratoga
Clinton Raceway LogoI think the little part is correct, the Saratoga I'm not so sure although they both race in August. .Dresden Raceway, is another one of those small Ontario "B" tracks that runs a limited number of race days during the year. Racing on a half mile oval in front of a small open air grandstand which seats 3,600, with parking for 1,600 cars, Racing is held mostly on Sunday afternoons from May to August.
Racing in Dresden dates back to 1880, over the years the site has been upgraded and pari-mutual wagering was introduced. In recent years the track was struggling, so a casino and simulcast facility were added to keep it solvent. They are in a separate building a few feet from the grandstand and share the same parking lot.
