Fonner ParkClinton Raceway Logo

Clinton Raceway, is one of those small Ontario "B" tracks that runs a limited number of race days during the year. Racing on a half mile oval in front of a small open air grandstand, that seats 5,000, with parking for 500 cars. The stable area can only handle 32 horses.  Sunday matinee's are held from May to September, on the narrow track where horses start seven across..

In 1970 a local group called the Kinsmen brought pari-mutual wagering to Clinton, in 1983 the Kinsmen transferred control to another group who now run the track as a non profit. To honor the original group, The Kin Pace is the premier race each year. Another yearly tradition is Legends Day, when top drivers show up to race.

Clinton Raceway also has slots, but they are in there own building, a short distance from the grandstand.
