BIOGRAPHY |
Barbara Rogers started her career in Florida at Tampa Bay Downs, she started out on December 6, 1987 on a horse named Tumble Wing. She finished off the board that race and on here other start that year. On March 9, 1988, she scored her first win aboard Aldey's Folly at Tampa Bay.
In 1989 Rogers started to migrate north, riding the summer at Atlantic City Race Course before moving up to Rockingham Park in the fall. She remained in New England till the fall of 1991, and left to try her luck in Kentucky.
Over the next few years, she would ride on the Kentucky Circuit, till it looks like she retired at the end of the Ellis Park meet in August of 1993. Fast forward eleven years and she shows up at Hoosier Park in Indiana where she rides five races, before her last ride at Beulah Park on December 3, 2004. Her mount that day was Missy Girl, they finished fourth. I can't be certain Rogers didn't ride between 1994 and 2003, but I couldn't find anything.
