BIOGRAPHY |
Like a lot of other ladies, Linda had two careers. One as Linda Burton and one as Linda Bradshaw. She did her career a little different, initially riding under her husbands name and finishing her career under her maiden name.
As Linda Burton she won her first race at Florida Downs aboard a horse named Shoo Bag, in an all ladies event in 1977. She rode as Linda Burton till the end of 1986, mostly at Midwest tracks in Kentucky and Illinois. In 1987 she would change names and venues.
In 1987 Linda Burton, became Linda Bradshaw, she would move her tack to New England where she finished her career. At the end of her career it looks like she did it all, she owned, trained and rode her own horses. Her final ride was at Rockingham Park on September 25, 2002 aboard Fancy Free Playboy.
