  Can You Guess My Name?

Parx Racing What started as Keystone then became Philadelphia Park is now PARX racing whatever that means. Well whatever it means it probably means trouble for New Jersey and New York. Parx which runs almost year round has a purse value index of 49 for a full year meet, making it one of the best place for horseman on the East Coast. Reluctantly built in the early seventies when the State of Pennsylvania dictated that standardbreds and thoroughbreds could not run at the same track. It is also one of the main reasons for ending racing at historic Garden State Park in New Jersey.

Parx Racing In 2011 PARX again ran it's January to December racing schedule. Jockey Kendrick Carmouche won the riding title. Another Jockey Eriluis Vaz who was suspended in 2010 for a stretch whipping incident and subsequent fist fight with another jockey, received another lengthily suspension for spying on female jockeys showering. Racing returns to PARX in 2012.

In 2013 Parx has improved it's purse value index to 55, which is not to bad for one of the only tracks in the United States that has live racing dates from January first to December thirty first.
