  The Buck Starts Here !

Ladies Day Going by the name of this event in Miles City it's pretty clear that horse racing is the main attraction but as of 2013 the Bucking Horse Sale is the only meet in Montana that has run consecutively in the twenty first century.

The event traces back to the Miles City Roundup which begin in 1914. In 1950 the name was changed to the Miles City Bucking Horse Sale which it remains today. It is unclear when pari-mutual racing begin.

In 2013 racing was conducted for 3 days over two weekends. Justin Vanderwoude came away with the riding title, scoring on thirty nine percent of his mounts. It is Montana so who knows about 2014?
