Gateway to Idaho!
Oneida Horse Racing is held annually at the Oneida County Fairgrounds in
Malad City, the gateway to Idaho at least if your driving up I-15. It
also conducts one of the shortest race meets in the nation, spanning two
weekends but only racing for three days.
Oneida Racing offers quarter horse racing with some mixed breeds. It runs the typical Idaho Fair format with week one for trials, and the second week the featured race of the meet. In this case the Craig Daniels Memorial Derby.
Racing was conducted in 2011 and also in 2012. In 2014 the Oneida Fair is racing four days over two weekends in August.
