Santa Rosa is the only fair track with a turf course. The Santa Rosa
meet has run yearly at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds since 1936. It
traditionally runs the last week of July and first week of August. Santa
Rosa also provides year round simulcasting.
In 2011 the meet was run again at the end of July and beginning of August. Russell Baze won another riding title. Santa Rosa had a Purse Value Index of 33, good quality racing for a fair meet. Racing is scheduled for 2012
